Two men have been charged after road rage incident in Sydney’s north west yesterday

About 3.00pm (Wednesday 3 November 2021), a grey Subaru hatchback and a white Toyota Hilux utility were travelling in slow-moving traffic south along Lane Cove Road, North Ryde, when the two vehicles came to a stop.

The men retreated to their respective vehicles and drove from the scene, travelling through Homebush to Concord where the hatchback came to a stop on Shipley Avenue.

Officers from Ryde and Burwood Police Area Commands attended and commenced inquiries into the incident.

Following investigations, Ryde police arrested two 39-year-old men at a home in Rhodes about 11pm.

One man was issued with a Court Attendance Notice for wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and common assault.

The other man was issued a Court Attendance Notice for common assault.

Both were granted conditional bail to appear in Hornsby Local Court on Wednesday 24 November 2021.
