Two men sought after teen assaulted and scooter stolen at Albury, NSW

Police have appealed to community for information after a teenager was assaulted by two men and had his scooter stolen at Albury yesterday.

About 3.30pm on Saturday 20 April 2019, a 16-year-old male was at the skate park in David Street when he was approached by two men on bicycles.

As the youth ran from the males towards Bilson Park, he was tackled to the ground by one of the men.

The male demanded the teenagers scooter, and both men assaulted him whilst he was on the ground.

Taking the scooter, the two men rode away on their bikes.

The teenager had no visible injuries after the incident.

Officers from Albury Police District were alerted and commenced an investigation.

The two men are described only as being about 18 and 30-years-old and riding bicycles.
