Two new Assistant Commissioners to help shape future Organisational Capability

Applications are open for two new Assistant Commissioners to help shape the future of QCS and the agency’s Organisational Capability Division.

The Assistant Commissioner, Policy and Legal Command (General Legal Counsel) and Assistant Commissioner, Ministerial, Communications and Executive Services Command will be responsible for a number of critical activities which will plot a path to future readiness as a modern, sustainable and effective correctional organisation.

These key executive positions are integral to QCS and the delivery of our program of work including both our business as usual responsibilities and our reform agenda.

The Assistant Commissioner, Ministerial, Communications and Executive Services will provide leadership over the following groups within QCS:

  1. Legislation Group
  2. Media and Communications Group
  3. Executive Services
