Two new Development Control Plans adopted

Two new Development Control Plans (DCPs) have been adopted by Orange City Council and have officially come into effect.

The two new DCPs are :

  • site-specific controls for the west end of the former hospital site, and
  • a new chapter of the Orange DCP 2004 which covers how development of flood-affected land in Orange will be managed.

Adoption of a Development Control Plan in relation to the west end of former orange base hospital site.

Pursuant to section 21(2) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000 Council hereby notifies the community of its decision, taken at the Planning and Development Committee meeting of 6 April 2021, to adopt a Development Control Plan (DCP).

The DCP, to be known as DCP 17 ‘Site Specific Controls – West End Precinct’ takes effect as chapter 17 of the Orange Development Control Plan 2004 with the publication of this notice on 4 May 2021.
