Professional Standards Command detectives have charged two western region police officers following an internal investigation.
A 41-year-old male senior constable and 39-year-old female leading senior constable have both been charged with false imprisonment.
It is alleged the incident occurred in January last year while the pair were on-duty.
They will both appear at a magistrates’ court at a later date.
