Two police vehicles rammed by stolen car in South Yarra

Police have arrested a man after he allegedly rammed two police vehicles in South Yarra this afternoon.

Officers first spotted an allegedly stolen white Mazda on Church Street about 3pm.

They attempted to intercept the vehicle, before it allegedly rammed into a police vehicle on Claremont Street.

Police continued to follow the car, before it rammed into another police vehicle back on Claremont Street.

The police members were not injured.

A 25-year-old Braybrook man was arrested at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.

He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
