Two teenagers charged after stabbing in Geelong

Geelong Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged two teenage boys following an alleged stabbing that occurred on 8 May in Geelong.

The alleged stabbing happened during an altercation between a group of men on Broughham street about 7.35pm with the offenders fleeing the scene.

A 44-year-old man from Norlane was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is in a stable condition.

A 26-year-old man of no fixed address was taken to hospital with critical injuries.

Police have charged an 18-year-old from Norlane and a 19-year-old from Bayswater.

The Baywater teenager has been remanded to appear at the Geelong Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.

The Norlane male has been remanded to appear at the Geelong Magistrates’ Court on 18 May.
