Two wanted over street robbery in the city, South Australia

Eastern District Police are seeking information from the public to help identify to men sought over an aggravated street robbery in the city last month.

At around 2am on Tuesday 23 October, a teenage male was walking south on Pulteney Street when he became aware of two men following him.

As he turned into Cypress Street off Wakefield Street, he was grabbed on the collar from behind by then two men, who then demanded he hand over his backpack.

The victim in fear, handed over the backpack which contained a mobile phone, laptop and his wallet containing cash and credit cards.

A short time after the robbery and later the same day on 23 October, CCTV cameras captured two men using the stolen credit card, first at a service station at Trinity Gardens then at a fast-food outlet at Sefton Park.

Suspect 1: (left) is described as about 22-25 years-old having an olive complexion, dark hair, about 175cms and of slim build. He is heavily tattooed on both arms and neck. He was wearing a light coloured t-shirt, khaki coloured trousers and black and white track shoes.

Suspect: 2 (right) is described as being about 20-23-years-old, 184cms tall, Caucasian with light blonde hair. He was wearing dark trousers with red track shoes.

The victim was not physically injured in the robbery.
