Upcoming disruptions on Monash and Princes freeways as part of Stage 2 of Monash Freeway Upgrade 11 July

Below is an update about upcoming Monash and Princes freeway disruptions as part of Stage 2 of the Monash Freeway Upgrade.

Works are underway to complete the upgrade of the Monash and Princes freeways.

TRAFFIC IMPACTS

OVERNIGHT – freeway closures

Monash Freeway

The Monash Freeway will be closed in the inbound direction between Warrigal Road and Wellington Road on:

  • Monday 11, Tuesday 12, and Wednesday 13, July, from 8pm to 5am (three nights).
  • Thursday 14, July, from 9pm to 5am (one night).

Detour via Wellington Road and Stud Road.

Overnight road and ramp closures

There will be closures of the ramps in the next week at:

  • The Beaconsfield Interchange will be closed between 8pm and 5am from Monday, 11 July to Thursday, 14 July (four nights).
    • Detour via Cardinia Road and Princes Highway.
  • The Cardinia Road outbound exit ramp will be closed between 8pm and 5am on Sunday, 10 July (one night).
    • Detour via McGregor Rd.
  • The Clyde Road outbound entry ramp will be closed between 8pm and 5.30am on Sunday, 10 July (one night).
    • Detour via Princes Highway.
  • The Princes Highway outbound entry ramp will be closed between 8pm and 5am on Monday, 11 July (one night).
    • Detour via Princes Highway.
