Detectives investigating the homicide of a 40-year-old woman at Karawatha have released the identity of a 40-year-old Acacia Ridge man they believe may able to assist with their active inquiries into the case.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Stafford Emmerson (pictured) is urged not to approach him but to contact police immediately.
The body of Megan Kirley was found at a Wembley Road property just after 3am on Saturday, February 9.
As part of the ongoing investigation detectives are continuing to review all available CCTV footage and attempting to identify any people or vehicles seen in the area.
Detectives would like to thank members of the public who have responded with calls to Policelink.
Police are still seeking information about these vehicles or from anyone who was in the area on the morning of the February 9 to come forward.
