Waverley Council has been formally notified by Deloitte Turnaround & Restructuring partners that builders Lloyd Group is in voluntary administration [administration].
Deloitte [the Administrators] will continue to communicate with the Council on next steps and what today’s announcement means for Waverley.
Lloyd Group is head contractor of our restoration of the Boot Factory building in Bondi Junction and Tamarama Surf Club upgrade.
Waverley Council wishes to thank and acknowledge the many workers and subcontractors who have worked on these two projects. We acknowledge that today’s announcement is difficult for all involved.
Waverley Council has progressed many significant building projects during the pandemic and these projects have helped support the construction industry and local economy.
We will continue to provide updates as they come to hand.
