Update: Armed robberies, Brisbane and Logan

Detectives investigating a series of linked armed robberies across Brisbane and Logan overnight have released CCTV footage as they continue to search for those involved.

Around 10:20pm a 28-year-old man was threatened by three people while arriving home in his white 2007 Toyota Corolla with Queensland registration 881LZP at Wardle Street in Mount Gravatt East.

One of the trio, a man armed with a firearm, removed him from the vehicle and physically assaulted him before the group fled in the car.

The vehicle was then linked to an attempted robbery of a service station on Compton Road at Woodridge around midnight.

At 12:30 am, police responded to reports of an armed robbery at a service station in Johnson Road, Hillcrest.

A man and a woman smashed their way into the service station before threatening the female console operator with a firearm and crowbar.

The pair fled the store after stealing cash and cigarettes from behind the counter.

The same group then targeted a service station on Mount Cotton Road at Capalaba around 2.15am where an attendant was threatened with a firearm and cash and cigarettes were stolen.

No one was physically injured during the incidents.

The stolen vehicle remains outstanding.

Investigators are urging anyone with information to contact police.
