Northern Territory Police have charged a man in relation to a pedestrian strike over the weekend.
The 32-year-old has now been charged with Hit and run cause death and was remanded to appear in Alice Springs local court today.
The circumstances surrounding the death of the pedestrian is still being investigated, on behalf of the Northern Territory Coroner, as a death in custody.
