Investigations are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the deaths of two people at Frenchville.
Around 9.30pm on January 28, police attended an address on Frenchville Road where a deceased man and woman were located inside the premises.
A crime scene was established, and investigations are continuing to establish the cause of death.
Detectives have identified the woman as a 49-year-old Frenchville resident.
The man has yet to be identified.
Post mortems will be conducted this week.
Police can confirm a firearm was used at the scene.
