Police are continuing to ask members of the public out in the early hours in the Christchurch ‘red zone’ area to remain aware of their surroundings.
A small number of reports have been received of a young male approaching women, exposing himself, and in some instances indecently assaulting them.
These have mainly been in the early morning, between 6:30-8am, and the latest report was on Wednesday 23 March and took place on Banks Avenue.
Police believe the man is 16-24 years old, of a medium height and build and is described as having shoulder length wavy brown hair that is parted in the middle.
This man was last seen wearing black trackpants, a black polar fleece top and a facemask.
