Update on riverbank access at Alphington paper mill site

Community access to the Yarra Riverbank at Alphington has been restored.

A temporary pathway has been created that provides safe community access to the riverbank through the Glenvill construction site.

Riverbank access was temporarily suspended as work was undertaken to assess stability and to remove two trees that had fallen into the river earlier this year and a third tree that was at risk of falling and causing further damage to the bank.

Glenvill will undertake regular inspections of the access way throughout its use to ensure ongoing community safety.
