Kiama Council
Kiama Council crews have been busy this morning following up damage and other issues after last night’s storm.
- Jamberoo Mtn Rd is closed to all traffic and our contractors are working to clear fallen trees. This is expected to take at least today and maybe tomorrow
- The Gainsborough area of Kiama Downs has some large trees down and our contractors are again assisting in this area
- Some properties in Kiama Downs have been affected by water and Sydney Water is responding to these reports
- Curramore Rd Jamberoo is closed due to fallen trees and power lines and Endeavour Energy has been notified
- Williams Rd at Saddleback Mtn is also closed due to fallen trees and power lines and Endeavour Energy has been notified
- Swamp Road is closed due to water over the road
- Werri Lagoon is being opened this morning to reduce the risk of flooding to low-lying properties
