Detectives have charged a 22-year-old woman following the alleged assault of a man in Yeppoon in the early hours of this morning.
Police will allege at around 3.30am emergency services were called to a house in Jeffries Street to treat a man with a chest wound.
A 39-year-old man Yeppoon man was transported to hospital with life threating injuries.
The 22-year-old woman from Yeppoon, who is known to the man, will face court tomorrow via link-up with Bundaberg charged with attempted murder.
