Updated Activities Associated Direction 19 November, South Australia

The Emergency Management (Activities Associated No 15) (COVID-19) Direction 2021 has been revoked and replaced by the Emergency Management (Activities Associated No 16) (COVID-19) Direction 2021. This Direction comes into effect at 12.01am on 23 November 2021.

Key changes include:

From 23 November people can have a maximum of 30 people in their home (including residents).

A person must not allow, organise or attend a gathering at home if more than 30 people (including people who reside at the premises) will be present at the premises at any time.

There has also been clarification for venues hosting private functions. A private function is an invitation only event that must be held in a separate room or designated area which is being used exclusively for that event and there is no access for members of the public who do not have an invitation.

Other existing requirements remain.

The information above only highlights the key changes made to the Directions and does not reflect all requirements. Members of the public are encouraged to see the full Directions for further information.
