Updated Exposure Sites, Contacts and Diagnosis Requirements Direction 18 February, South Australia

The Emergency Management (Exposure Sites, Contacts and Diagnosis Requirements No 4) (COVID-19) Direction 2022 has been revoked and replaced by the Emergency Management (Exposure Sites, Contacts and Diagnosis Requirements No 5) (COVID-19) Direction 2022. This Direction came into effect at 11.55am on 18 February 2022.

Key changes include:

People who are directed by an authorised officer to isolate in a COVID Accommodation Support Centre (ASC) need to:

  • remain in the COVID Accommodation Support Centre and follow all reasonable directions from an authorised officer, until completion of the required isolation period; and
  • comply with the requirements prescribed on the SA Health website if they are discharged from an ASC and advised by a medical practitioner or authorised officer to continue to isolate or quarantine elsewhere.

Other existing requirements remain.
