Victorian-based digital health companies selected for inaugural ANDHealth ACTIVATE program

ANDHealth Activate, the first dedicated digital and connected health accelerator program supported by LaunchVic, has announced the 15 digital and digitally-enabled medical technology companies that will benefit from this new program.

Over the next six months, the 15 cohort companies will participate in a customised program that will support them in scaling up and navigating the commercialisation pathway in digital and connected health, ultimately supporting them to raise capital, secure enterprise customers and enter new international markets.

This year’s cohort was selected through a competitive screening process.

ANDHealth managing director and CEO Bronwyn Le Grice said, “We’re excited to offer the ACTIVATE program to these promising Victorian digital health companies.

“Activate brings together a unique combination of elements from our flagship programs, into a free 6-month program which provides hands-on support, mentorship, pre-vetted and curated industry experts and access to global industry leaders, focused on supporting companies to become investment and enterprise customer ready.”

“Victoria currently represents 39% of Australia’s evidence-based digital and connected health sector, making it an ideal place in which to design and deliver the next cutting-edge commercialisation program in the ANDHealth program suite,” said Ms Le Grice.

“We believe some of Victoria’s next big success stories will pass through this program on their journey to commercial success.”

Victorian CEO and Founder of VaxApp Luke Renehan, who has participated in previous ANDHealth programs, said, “These programs are world-class. ANDHealth has given us access to potential partners, clients, investors, advisors, funding, new international markets and insights from global leaders we would not have had access to otherwise.”

LaunchVic provided ANDHealth with $1.4 million in funding to establish a novel accelerator program for high-growth-potential digital health startups in October 2022.

ANDHealth will use the funding to run ACTIVATE three times over three years out of the Victorian Connected Health Innovation and Commercialisation Centre based in Melbourne.
