The Victorian Government graduate program is designed to provide graduates with the broad experiences, capabilities and support needed to establish meaningful public service careers through a comprehensive 12-month learning and development journey.
Round 1 program streams within the 2022 Victorian Government graduate program include:
- Generalist: Generalist graduates have a minimum of an undergraduate degree in any field of study and the placements in the graduate program are varied.
- Accounting and finance: Accounting and finance graduates have generally majored in either accounting or finance and undertake predominantly accounting and finance related work.
- Economic consultancy: Economic consultancy graduates have generally majored in economics or econometrics and are provided with work which predominantly requires the use of economic analysis skills.
- Data analytics: Data analytics graduates have generally majored or have experience in data analytics, mathematics, statistics, modelling or computer science and complete data analytics related work.
In most streams, you’ll work in 3 different departments over 12 months.
The program offers employment streams tailored to what you studied at university, and graduate pathways if you’re an applicant with a disability or identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
Round 2 program streams will be announced mid-2021.
