Virtual celebration for 2020 Blood Challenge

Coming in second overall, CFA had 660 members donate throughout last year’s challenge and registered an amazing 1258 donations (308 more donations than the 2019 challenge tally) only 59 behind the winners, Victoria Police. This is enough blood to help save 3,774 lives.

CFA was recently awarded the trophy for registering the most plasma donations of all services across the country, with 822.

This year, the Lifeblood team are holding a virtual event on 18 March to celebrate the enormous contribution of all Australians.

During the event the Lifeblood team will talk about:

  • Some top results, and how we can make next year even bigger
  • Who scored a place on the podium in our Blood Challenges
  • Why plasma’s a game changer and the growing demand across Australia. You’ll even get to hear a first-hand story from someone whose life was changed by Lifeblood

The hour long session will also include presentations from:

  • Cath Stone, Executive Director Donor Services, Australian Red Cross Lifeblood
  • Jake Whittley, Father of Recipient

You will have the chance to ask Lifeblood panellists questions in real-time via a live Q&A.
