Vision: Armed robbery in Mundingburra, QLD

Police have released vision and are asking for community assistance to identify two males involved in the armed robbery of a convenience store in Mundingburra on Saturday, September 25.

Around 9pm, two male youths approached a convenience store on Ross River Road. One male remained outside as a possible lookout.

The second male entered the store and produced a small axe and threatened the store attendant.

He then reached over the counter and grabbed a handful of cash from the register. They ran from the store, across Ross River Road into the grounds of a state school.

The female shop attendant sustained minor injuries during the incident.

Investigators are seeking community assistance to help identify the males in the vision. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
