The Voice referendum will be held on Saturday, 14 October, 2023.

The Voice is about whether we should change the Constitution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by establishing a body called the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice.

As a Council we acknowledge the upcoming referendum on the Voice to Parliament and we respect our community members’ individual priorities, beliefs, and values.

We believe in an informed and inclusive democratic process and encourage our community members to access accurate and comprehensive information to aid them in making an educated decision.

Voting in the Voice referendum is compulsory for all eligible Australian citizens aged 18 years and over.
