Volunteers invited to dinner

Hawkesbury Bushcare VolunteersHawkesbury City Council is inviting local volunteers to come along to a community volunteer dinner.

If you are a volunteer who lives in the Hawkesbury and you:

  • volunteer at the local school, sports or interest club, aged care, council (eg library, museum, gallery) or community service
  • or volunteer to help animals, the environment/bushcare, the arts, or our community during emergencies
  • or are part of a volunteer committee for a citizen group, a community hall or church for example

then you are invited to a Hawkesbury community volunteer dinner at one of the dates below.

The free dinners at local venues will provide a great chance to mingle with other volunteers and to learn more from Council about what supports are available to Hawkesbury Volunteers like the Community Hubs, Hawkesbury Community Learning Hub and Everyday Leaders wellbeing support. You can find out about volunteering at the Community Hubs and other volunteering opportunities at Council.

We are also keen to hear from you about why you volunteer, what you get out of it and how best we can support our amazing Hawkesbury volunteers.

The dinners are free to Hawkesbury volunteers but numbers are strictly limited due to venue sizes and to ensure a great cross-section of volunteers each evening.
