Clive Palmer has described WA Premier Mark McGowan’s actions in counter-suing him as a shocking waste of taxpayers’ money.
“If he wants to bring an action against me, he should be paying for it himself,” Mr Palmer said.
“Both Mark McGowan and the State’s first law officer John Quigley know what’s going on, they have exempted themselves from criminal law.
“This counter-suing measure will be a very expensive mistake by them to the State of WA,” Mr Palmer said.
“It is the Premier of WA who will be up for damages for defamation,” he said.
