Warrant issued for David Kiston

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate David Kitson after an alleged stabbing in Wodonga last night.

Police were called to Lawrence Street after it was reported a number of people were involved in an altercation in the street around 9.45pm.

A 33-year-old man has been taken to hospital with what is believed to be serious injuries and a 17-year-old boy, who attempted to intervene in the incident, was also taken to hospital with lacerations to his arm. The other man left the scene.

38-year-old Kitson is wanted on warrant in relation to the incident in Wodonga yesterday.

He was last seen wearing black shorts, a red cap and a ‘Louis Vuitton’ face mask.

Investigators have released an image of Kitson in the hope that someone may be able to provide information on his current whereabouts.
