Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Mohammed Abdullahi.
The 28-year-old man is wanted on warrant for assault related matters.
Abdullahi is known to be frequent Ascot Vale and Fitzroy
He is perceived to be of African appearance, 178cm tall, thin build and with short curly black hair.
Investigators have also released an image of Abdullahi in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his whereabouts.
