Warrants executed South Grampians

Southern Grampians Divisional Tasking Team executed warrants in towns across the Southern Grampians in the last three weeks.

Police resources from Portland, Hamilton, Warrnambool and Southern Grampians Divisional Tasking Team formed part of a co-ordinated effort conducting raids and executing warrants in the Portland and Hamilton Police service area.

The raids have resulted in eight arrests with all the suspects charged and bailed for a number of offences which include, trafficking, cultivation and possession of drugs, possession of weapons and firearms and possession of stolen property.

A number of items were seized, which include Ecstasy, Ice, cannabis, guns, weapons and cash. Two bush plots of cannabis were also seized.

The success of the raids is a direct result of information received from the public. Police are very grateful and encourage the public to keep up the good work.
