Cabonne Council will be commencing the reconstruction of Washpen Creek Bridge and associated road improvement works on Gundong Road, Obley NSW for approximately six (6) months, starting the week of the 8 of January 2024. The works include the reconstruction of the bridge, realignment of the approaching road pavement and associated drainage works. This work will involve some removal of trees to accommodate the works.
Motorists are advised to be aware of the signage and keep to the posted speed limit. Disruptions to the traffic flow will be kept to a minimum, but please allow for extra time if you are travelling along Gundong Road.
The works are co-funded under The Bridges Renewal Program, an Australian Government initiative, and Cabonne Shire Council.
