Water tower Playground

Construction is finalised and the new Water Tower Playground on Watermain Street is now available to use.

The Water Tower Playground offers a unique and immersive play experience for children and families. The new playground features a wide range of play structures, designed to encourage physical activity, imagination, and social interaction among children. Some highlights include:

  1. Climbing Towers: Children can test their agility and bravery as they ascend the towering structures, offering a view of the township at the top.
  2. Slides and Swings: A variety of slides and swings provide endless hours of fun for children.
  3. Sensory Play Areas: Sensory music play has been incorporated to stimulate and engage children’s senses.

To ensure the safety and preservation of the playground, Council has implemented additional measures. A portable camera will be installed in the area. This camera will serve as a watchful eye, deterring potential acts of vandalism and ensuring the preservation of this valuable community resource.

Further enhancements are planned, including the construction of a shelter and seating.

Mayor for Narrandera Shire Council, Cr Neville Kschenka said “The playground is open to the public and free to use. We invite everyone to come and enjoy the new playground and the beautiful surroundings of the Narrandera Water Tower”.

The playground was developed by Narrandera Shire Council in collaboration with Moduplay Group.

Proudly funded by the NSW Government Stronger Country Communities Fund – Round 5.
