Narrandera Shire Council is pleased to announce a planned watermain extension along Elwin Street, from Charles Street to East Street. Construction is scheduled to commence on Tuesday 6 February 2024 and is expected to be completed by Thursday 29 February 2024.
The primary objective of this project is to ensure a reliable and consistent water supply for the residents in the area. By extending the watermain, the Council aims to enhance the overall reliability of the water network for the benefit of the community.
Traffic control measures will be in place on Charles Street. Residents residing near the intersection of Charles Street and Elwin Street may experience some disruptions. Council is committed to ensuring the disruption is kept to a minimum.
Residents are reminded to exercise caution when entering and exiting their properties. The Council appreciates the cooperation and understanding of the community during this project.
