We want to hear your ideas on how we can make Richmond’s Swan Street an even better place to visit, work and live.
Help us create a new streetscape masterplan for the area by sharing your ideas at Your Say Yarra.
The plan will look at improving things like footpaths, trees and landscaping, outdoor dining and seating, public art, and pedestrian accessibility and safety.
It will aim to:
- design high quality streetscapes and public spaces that are welcoming, fit for purpose, attractive, flexible, accessible, safe and long-lasting
- provide well considered design solutions that contribute to the area’s character, sense of place and identity
- make sure our designs are future proof, and will consider any other future projects (including those that we don’t manage, like tram stop improvements).
The plan won’t look at changing private land, the actual road/traffic space of Swan Street, or nearby public transport stops and stations.
