With warmer weather and decent spring rain, conditions are ideal for annual weed spraying at Eurobodalla’s sportsgrounds and reserves.
Starting October, the annual weed control program includes control of broadleaf bindii and clover, a growth retardant on playing fields and high-profile reserves, and glyphosate to manage weeds around buildings and other structures.
At each location, signs will indicate the time and date of spraying and the herbicide used. People should stay off the grass until the signs are removed when the areas are safe for use.
