Wentworth Shire
Wentworth Shire Council advises that the Wentworth Transfer Station will close at 12:30pm today, Wednesday 30 September 2026, due to operational requirements.
The site will be open from 9:00am to 12:30pm.
Residents are encouraged to plan their waste disposal activities accordingly. Alternative waste disposal services are available at the Buronga Landfill during its normal operating hours of 8:00am to 4:45pm.
