When: Every second Saturday of the month.
Time: 8am to 12pm.
Meeting location: Werrington Creek – meet by the Werrington Lake carpark, by the playground, off Burton Street, Werrington.
This site is well-used by many in our community, and with the Bushcare Group starting in April 2026, they’d love extra helping hands!
Tasks include target weeding of problematic vines and getting pesky annual weeds before they seed. There is also a large amount of litter here that we don’t want in the creek.
It is a haven for birds such as the satin bower bird, magpies and kookaburras, and it has lovely walking tracks which the community is encouraged to use to enjoy the area.
