West Lakes Shore tavern robbery, South Australia

Police are investigating a robbery which occurred at West Lakes Shore early this morning.

Just before 1.30am on Friday 28 June patrols were called to a tavern on Bartley Terrace, after a man allegedly armed with a small knife entered the gaming area and threatened staff.

Thankfully no one was physically injured. The suspect left on foot travelling south across the carpark of the tavern towards Bartley Terrace with an amount of cash, two bottles of alcohol and a cask of port.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance. He was wearing a black balaclava, grey hooded top, dark coloured cargo pants with brown shoes with light coloured laces and black gloves. He was carrying a green backpack.

A search of the area failed to locate the man and investigations are continuing.
