Crescent Head’s Baker Drive playground replacement has hit another hurdle due to recent flooding and wet weather with the installation now booked in for mid-May.

Kempsey Shire Council’s replacement of the playground at Baker Drive in Crescent Head has been delayed as wet weather has prevented works from progressing as anticipated.

Council is expecting to start installing the new equipment from Tuesday 17 May and having the playground ready by June, weather permitting.

The improved playground will be safe, modern and creative allowing children to learn through play and encourage social and problem solving skills. The new equipment will include animal-themed rockers, a climbing cube, a swing set and much more.

We’re sorry for the delay and we appreciate your patience. We can guarantee your new playground will be worth the wait.
