Heavy rainfall has again impacted the city overnight.
Beaches are again closed to swimming again today due to a strong swell and significant debris on the beaches.
Residents are also reminded to stay out of swollen rivers and creeks.
Not only are there hidden dangers below the surface but stormwater runoff can increase bacterial levels in the water making it unsafe for swimming.
Hardys Road at Bonogin as been closed and residents are reminded to drive to conditions – if it’s flooded forget it.
