Mornington Peninsula Shire is seeking community input on its Budget 2021–22 to help guide the future direction of Shire delivered community programs, projects and initiatives.

We’re encouraging the community to tell us their ideas and priorities for the coming financial year as we develop our draft Budget 2021–22.

This is a great opportunity for residents, businesses and community groups to voice their future objectives and goals by contributing to the Budget process.

This is the first phase of the Budget process. Community members will be able to provide their thoughts as the Budget is developed.

Pre-Budget submissions for consideration in the development of the draft Budget 2021–22 opened Thursday 29 October 2020 and close 5pm Sunday 29 November 2020.

Ideas can be submitted online through the Shire’s website at mornpen.vic.gov.au/budget.

Everyone who makes a submission will receive an individual response regarding the outcome of their submission.

There will also be an opportunity to make a verbal presentation in support of submissions before a Committee of Council on Wednesday 9 December 2020.
