Wilful exposurein Brisbane Bayside

A man has been charged in relation to a number of recent incidents in Brisbane’s bayside area where he is alleged to have exposed himself to women.

It will be alleged in August, a woman was running along Tindappah Drive South in Thornlands when she witnessed a man exit a white utility parked in the street around 4pm.

The man was not completely dressed and allegedly walked towards the woman, exposing himself.

It will also be alleged the same man exited a white utility and exposed himself to a woman walking alone through Oyster Point Park in Cleveland in September.

On November 25 a woman was walking her dog through a bush reserve on Alperton Road in Burbank when a Caucasian male allegedly began following her along the track.

The man continued to approach the woman before removing his clothes. The woman fled back to her car and the man continued to pursue her before she drove away. The man was seen leaving the area in a white utility.

Ongoing investigations by Cleveland police led to the arrest of a 26-year-old Thornlands man who was charged with two counts of wilful exposure and one count of stalking.

He is due to appear in Cleveland Magistrates Court on December 14.

Police are appealing for any other members of the public who may have witnessed similar behaviour in the Bayside area to come forward.
