Opposition Leader Josh Willie has failed to quell dissent within Labor ranks.
After leadership contender Ella Haddad was forced to publicly declare her loyalty, there’s been radio silence from other participants in the campaign to destabilise Mr Willie.
Shane Broad and Dean Winter have instead worked to undermine Mr Willie’s newfound interest in crossbench relations with a toxic attack on the Greens.
Neither have rushed to Mr Willie’s defence.
The best Mr Willie could manage was to tell the media he doesn’t ‘micromanage’ his team.
Mr Willie is hands-off as his leadership bus continues to run out of control.
Mr Willie has now set himself the target of 30 per cent support for his party by Christmas.
The question today is: will he last that long?
