The Hodgman Liberal Government remains committed to seeing 90 per cent of all Government contracts being awarded to Tasmanian-based companies by 2022.
Backing this up, we are helping local ICT companies get their foot in the door with the first of our Winning Government Tenders: ICT Sector Workshops in Hobart and Launceston next month.
The Department of State Growth has partnered with TasICT to offer these free workshops to Tasmanian businesses to learn real-life tendering skills to help them win government business.
Winning government work means standing out in a competitive field, offering value for money and putting forward a professional and compelling proposition which is why the Hodgman Liberal Government is supporting Tasmanian business with a local benefits test.
These workshops will help businesses that want to learn what it takes to put forward a winning tender bid.
Details of the free Winning Government Tenders: ICT Sector Workshops are:
Hobart Wednesday, 3 April 2019 9:00am to 1:00pm Best Western Hotel 156 Bathurst St, Hobart | Launceston Friday, 5 April 2019 9:00am to 1:00pm Clarion City Park Grand Hotel 22 Tamar St, Launceston |
We know that our ICT future is being led in Tasmanian by many relatively new or start-up companies and we are helping them take their first steps into government contracting.
