Maribyrnong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are seeking assistance from the public following an aggravated burglary in Braybrook on 10 November.
Investigators have been told an offender entered the Devonshire Road home about 5.30am while a family were sleeping inside and stole a wallet and other personal items.
Detectives have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
