Witness appeal for aggravated burglary in Chelsea

Kingston Crime Investigation Unit detectives are seeking assistance from the public following an aggravated burglary in Chelsea last month.

Investigators have been told a person entered the Swan Walk home between 11pm on 13 September and 3pm on 14 September and made off with the keys and a red Holden Commodore sedan.

A woman who was home at the time was not injured and was not aware the burglary had occurred until she woke the next morning.

Police have released images of the alleged stolen car and a man with distinctive tattoos at a carwash in the Casey area on 19 September, they believe can assist with their investigation.

The car was believed to be bearing stolen registration plates.
