Cessnock City Council has partnered with Resilience NSW to host three ‘Pop-Up’ Recovery Assistance Points at Wollombi Tennis Club on 2979 Paynes Crossing Road, Wollombi.

The ‘Pop-Ups’ will be held on:

  • Tuesday 22 March – 10am to 2pm
  • Wednesday 23 March – 3pm to 7pm
  • Friday 25 March – 10am to 2pm

Residents are invited to come along to meet Government and Non-Government agencies that provide financial assistance, accommodation advice, help with replacing lost documents, mental health and wellbeing services, insurance and legal support, and clean-up services.

Cessnock City Council Mayor Jay Suvaal is encouraging those who have been affected by the recent flood event to go along and see what help is available.

“Sometimes it’s hard to know where to start following a disaster, but there are lots of support services available and I hope residents go along to find out more.”

“Our primary concern is the safety and wellbeing of our community and I thank Resilience NSW for partnering with Council to support flood affected residents.”

More information about flood recovery assistance can be found on the Crisis, disaster and recovery assistance page on Council’s website.
