A 42 year old Bridgewater woman has been charged with arson following a suspicious house fire in Bridgewater this morning.
Emergency services were called to a Cowle Road address about 8am, following reports of a house on fire.
Tasmania Fire Service investigators determined the fire to be deliberately lit, with Bridgewater CIB launching an investigation.
Earlier this afternoon a 42 year old Bridgewater woman was taken into custody and charged with one count of arson.
She will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on 3 June.
