Police have charged a woman with two counts of attempted murder following investigations into a domestic violence incident in Mitchelton on 24 September.
It will be alleged a 47-year-old Mitchelton woman attempted to murder two boys, aged 12 and 15-years-old, by exposing them to a noxious substance.
The matter was reported to police when a 70-year-old man attended the residence and detected the noxious substance.
The boys did not require medical treatment and are safe and well.
The 47-year-old woman was transported to hospital for medical treatment and was later discharged and immediately taken into police custody today, 8 October.
Investigators from Ferny Grove Child Protection and Investigation Unit have charged the woman with two counts of attempted murder domestic violence offence against a child.
She is expected to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court this afternoon, 8 October.
