A driver has died after a single vehicle-crash in the state’s south overnight.
Just after 10pm yesterday (Saturday 7 February 2026), emergency services were called to Cullerin Road, Cullerin, about 6km north west of Gunning, following reports of a single-vehicle crash.
On arrival, officers attached to The Hume Police District located a car that had left the roadway and crashed into a tree.
The driver – a woman believed to be in her 20s – died at the scene.
She is yet to be formally identified.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the crash commenced.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
